Summer Meadow | Lamb Tallow + Wildflowers body butter
This is a limited release product and one I have been dreaming about creating for quite some time. My primary goal is to always nourish and care for your microbiome. One of the best ways to do this is to expose your skin to a vast array of ecological environments.
The microbial partners on our skin partner with the microbes we are exposed to. If you’re interested in this topic you can take a deeper dive into Dr. Rodney Dietert’s work on the human microorganism in his book.
I start the creation of this product by slow infusing the wildflowers into the lamb tallow on low heat for 5 days. This gives the tallow a slight “meadow” coloring and also the aroma of the wildflowers.
The primary scent I pick up is yarrow which smells like honey on a mountain.
After the wildflowers have infused into the lamb tallow I strain them out and whip the tallow into a creamy and luxurious body butter.
By combining the best of the animal kingdom with the best of the plant kingdom and adding in key orthomolecula nutrients I create a one of a kind unique product.
My journey in ancestral health has continued to take me deeper and deeper into understanding how far we’ve come from our primal roots in our modern day lifestyle. Skincare is one of the biggest drifts. I created this specific cream to deeply moisturize and restore the skin in ways no other cream can. I’ve learned the secret our ancestors have used for generations. TALLOW as the primary skin moisturizer. Before diving into all the incredible benefits of the ingredients in this cream, I want to point you to the application suggestions.
