We created this cream to combine the wonderful benefits of the L-Ascorbate (Vitamin C) molecule with apothecary wisdom that soothes and relieves muscle, joint, and tension pain.
I have long used Vitamin C, herbs and essential oils for headaches and to help my sore muscles process the lactic acid after intense adventure days. Now, I’ve combined all three fields of remedies into one cream!
Application Suggestions

Anti-Inflammatory Skin Detox
Vitamin C Benefits
“Vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) is a powerful antioxidant that plays essential roles in joint health and immune function. Vitamin C eases pain, reduces inflammation, and protects against cartilage damage.” - The Effects of Vitamin C on Arthritis by Carol Eustice, medically reviewed by Scott Zashin, MD
Vitamin C also benefits those during exercise and recovery to aid in muscle damage, bone health, and fatigue. (source)
Turmeric + Arnica Herbal Benefits
“Dr. Minerva Santos, the director of integrative medicine at Northern Westchester Hospital in New York, suggests turmeric as an effective remedy for joint pain. Turmeric is a deep orange-yellow colored spice often used in South Asian dishes such as curry. It is also known to have anti-inflammatory properties, which makes it an excellent therapy for swollen, achy joints.” (source)
Arnica used topically aids in bruises, swelling, arthritis, sore muscles, and wounds due to its anti-inflammatory and healing properties.
How to use the Vitamin C Cream:
Directly massage it into the muscle or joint area that is in pain
Massage it into your neck or temples when feeling a headache coming on
After a warm bath to help your body process lactic acid from a hard workout
Product Ingredients:
First off, what makes the difference with apothecary balms is the quality of your ingredients! From my research, each ingredient I use is the best quality. Because I have used this primarily for my family and not for resale sourcing ingredients well that don’t compromise our skin is really important! I also create all my skin care products in small batches as to preserve the integrity of the ingredients. None of the product has ever touched plastic. I heat the product over low and slow heat as to not lose the healing properties of the ingredients.
